FAQs
Where do you bag your salt & ice melt?
We bag all of our branded material right here in East St. Louis, IL with a semi-automatic bagging process. We started out as a bagged material supplier and pride ourselves on being one of the few who do not white label someone else’s salt. That means we have total quality control over the products we package from our 50lb bags to our 2000lb super sacks.
Why do you have bulk salt and not bagged salt if you bag your own materials?
We work closely with a large list of material suppliers from around the world to make sure we have salt available. Sometimes we run into a situation where the salt that is incoming has too high of a moisture content for our strict bagging standards. This is where super sacks may be useful if we are having stocking issues on products like Hi-Way or Commercial Ice Melt.
Do you carry liquid de-icers?
Yes! At this time, we carry dyed and undyed liquid Magnesium Chloride. This is a Compass Minerals product called FreezGard. It is a negative temperature product that works great in deicing and pre-wet systems.

Do you service equipment you don’t sell?
Absolutely! We have a small team of techs who have been in the industry for a long time, so there isn’t much we haven’t seen. We do everything from full hydraulic rebuilds, to standard installs on equipment we don’t sell here.
